- Answers to questions about WindoTrader Blue.

Since opening registrations for our WindoTrader Blue 'Guided Tours' and talking with potential Charter Subscribers, we have been asked several questions about what we're doing and why we're doing things the way we are. Believing those questions would be helpful to others, we decided to share our answers to them in this issue of WindoViews.

Bulletin: Educator Event Update: Jim Dalton's Live Market Trading Seminar
As many of you know, Jim and I were partners in DLC Profiles for almost 5 years. During that period we offered several live programs ranging from full-day seminars to our 6-day, flagship program The Cognitive Trading Process Intensive. In addition to our 'live' programs we also conducted many webinars supported by print materials and frequent online updates.
Our programs were always driven by our going commitment to helping traders increase their ability to think differently about the market by first, understanding the market and then, once that foundational market understanding was in place, work on the most important area of improvement - self-understanding.

WindoViews Update:
On Tuesday, August 23rd, we will open registrations for WindoTrader Blue 'Guided Tours'. The purpose of these 'Guided Tours' is three-fold:
First, to overview the structure, functionality, and flexibility of WindoTrader Blue,
Second, to outline our planned release process and qualifications for becoming a Charter Subscriber, and,
Third, to minimize, as much as possible, any and all miscommunication or misunderstanding of both what we're doing and why we're doing what we're doing in structuring the release of WindoTrader Blue in this manner.

WindoViews Update:
Beginning this month we are changing WindoViews from a one topic article to a bulletin / newsletter format. This new format, based on feedback from our subscribers and our objective for WindoViews, will focus on:
Subscriber feedback, ideas, and suggestions,
Updates on WindoTrader Blue and our support services, and,
Summarized topics with key links.
WindoViews will be published during the first week of each month with periodic 'special editions' based on the timeliness of the subject.
Again, your input prompted this change in our thinking about WindoViews and we thank you for your interest in what we're doing as well as your suggestions. We look forward to your continuing feedback.

Over the course of the five years that Jim Dalton and Terry had worked with participants in educational programs that they had sponsored, they encouraged their audience to read non-trading books to increase their self-understanding. While their recommendations did not minimize the importance of books related to market understanding, their emphasis on non-trading books was based on their experience in seeing first-hand how most of the problems that traders confronted in their trading were predominately rooted in the trader’s thinking processes and behaviors.
Over the past 8 months, the focus of WindoViews has been on supporting traders in increasing their ability to capitalize on the power of both hemispheres of their brain. We have written two, three part series of articles on mind-mapping (a right-brain activity), checklists (a left-brain biased activity), learning, and developing a study plan supportive of each individual’s learning style.
